Eeman Community Nursery and Primary school (ECPS) is a private, faith-based Muslim School. ECPS is located in Mengo Kisenyi Opposite KCCA Hospital.
ECPS’s aim is to deliver education to the highest standard, coupled with the moral and spiritual development of each pupil according to the great and beautiful teachings of Islam as exemplary contributors to our society and beyond.
Why ECPS
The school located in the underserved parts of Mengo, Kisenyi, Central Division, and Kampala district where child labour is a major issue in these communities as a result of the lack of educational facility in these communities.
Children between the ages of 3-11 years who cannot afford to a dual school to continue vend goods and pick scrap metals on the streets and trading centers.
Parents from these communities justifies why they allow their children to engage petty commercial activities with the reason that, they cannot afford a decent a high costs of secular and Islamic Primary school after completing primary education. The problem is the economic problems are affecting the community which has not been spared the scourge of the COVID 19.
